Santa’s Surfers Paradise Splash!

Did you know Santa takes the occasional sunny break? That’s right! Today, Mrs Claus and I took the sleigh for a little holiday to beautiful Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. We love spreading Christmas cheer, but even a jolly couple like us needs some fun in the sun now and then.
The reindeer stayed cool under a shady palm tree, nibbling frozen carrots from the esky, while we dipped our toes in the sparkling Aussie sea. Santa swimming at Surfers Paradise? You bet!
I got a bit too excited and waddled straight into the waves — with my hat still on! SPLASH! A big wave whooshed right over me and turned me into one very soggy Santa. My hat floated off like a tiny red boat. Luckily, a helpful pelican returned it (after trying to sit in it, of course).
Mrs Claus couldn’t stop giggling.
After drying off with the fluffiest towel in Queensland, I was treated to a frozen fruit pop from Mrs Claus herself. We built a sandcastle shaped like the North Pole toy workshop and decorated it with seashells for windows. A group of local kids nearby watched in awe and asked, “Are you the real Santa?” I gave them a wink. 😉
It was a magical Gold Coast moment, and a reminder that laughter, silliness, and sunshine are all part of the Christmas spirit — even in July!
Love Santa x 🎅
