Santa Goes Ice Fishing! ❄️🐟

Today I decided to try something new: ice fishing! I packed my fishing rod, a thermos of Mrs Claus’s marshmallow cocoa, and my fluffiest mittens, then waddled out onto the frozen lake behind the toy workshop.
Jingles came too, he brought a picnic blanket (on ice!), 47 snacks, and a giant rubber ducky he said was for "fishing luck." 🤔
We drilled a hole in the ice and dropped our fishing lines. We waited. And waited. And waited.

Then—tug tug!—I felt something on the line! I pulled and pulled… and fished up a soggy sock. Not a fish. Just a very wet, stripey sock.
Jingles laughed so hard he spilled cocoa on his boots. Then he pulled up a carrot (we think it belonged to a snowman), and Spark caught… a boot shaped like a fish.
Mrs Claus came to check on us, she brought fresh sandwiches and a heater that made the ice hole steam like a little hot tub!
We didn't catch dinner, but we had the best time laughing, chatting, and singing reindeer songs together. (Rudolph’s favourite is “I’m Hooked on a Feeling.”)

Today’s magical thought:Trying something new doesn’t always go as planned, but the memories, the giggles, and the time spent together? That’s the real treasure.
Love Santa x 🎅
